2021 MCOA National Specialty

Tim Collins

Hello, I’m Tim Collins of CollinsWall Mastiffs. First off, I would like to say how honored I am to have been given this opportunity of judging this year’s MCOA Independent Specialty Sweepstakes. I have called Western Washington my home for the past 30 years but my passion for dogs began early in my birth state of West Virginia. My father and I bred and raised hounds- Plotts, Black and Tans, Treeing Walkers and Redbone Coonhounds. We enjoyed participating in AKC field trials and sanctioned hunts. In 2009, I brought home my first Mastiff and my love for the breed began. I have been blessed with many wonderful Mastiff companions including an MCOA National BOB, Canadian National BOB, RBIS, MCOA National Select, MCOA Award of Merit & Canadian National BOW. I’m also the proud father of Austyn Collins who is an MCOA National Best Junior and went on to become the youngest handler to win MCOA National BOB. In believing rescue work is important, I also lend a hand in Mastiff rescue in the Northwest region, helping with capture, transport, temperament evaluations, temporary fostering and finding permanent homes. With my girlfriend, Ashley Wall, CollinsWall Mastiffs began. We have recently been busy raising a beautiful litter of eight puppies from our treasured girl Treasure. We breed seldom, only in hopes of our next show prospects and to produce quality ambassadors of the breed. I look forward to seeing your beautiful Mastiffs in the show ring.
