Thank you for the great honor to judge Tournament of Champions, best of luck to everyone! My love for purebred dogs began when I was 5 when we got the first of many AKC registered Pugs. Since that day I have always had a pug in my life. Growing up, dogs were a pillar in my life, with various dog activities and events. I joined 4-H to show my horses but soon was back to dogs and began my love for conformation and obedience. After graduating from college with my MBA, I got my first mastiff and became active in Mastiff rescue as the MCOA State Coordinator for Colorado and Wyoming. In 2002, I got my first well-bred competitive show quality Mastiff from Ridgrunner Mastiffs. I was lucky in those early years to have had some of the best mentors/friends, too many to name. I have had success in the ring and the whelping box. Showing is my first love but believe in a balanced dog with front and back titles even if its only a CGC. I have earned multiple obedience, rally titles, and a NWD. I am a proud preservation breeder producing dogs for the ring, therapy work, and most importantly family companions. Breeding under the kennel names of Divine mastiffs and Ashlan French bulldogs and Pugs. One of my greatest passions in the dog world is public education and giving back by volunteering for club. I am a member of All Breed Clubs, the Parent Club for my breeds, Regional Breed Clubs, and the Non-Sporting Dog Club. I have held every office but Treasurer across my various clubs. I am proud to have been a part of nearly every aspect of multiple Specialties from Show Chair to grounds. Health Education is important to me and I proud to have been mentored by the late Anna May. I have served as a Sub Committee Chair since 2004 and Health Committee Chair the last few years to carry on the work. Clubs cannot exist without volunteers believe me there is a job for everyone just ask at the next show you attend if they need help. I enjoy mentoring and judging juniors as they are the future of purebred dogs. Please be kind and show good sportsmanship you never know who is looking up to you.
